Cops: Two Men, One Dressed As A Woman, Flee IHOP
The pair struck a restaurant manager with their car as they fled the scene, police said.
Two men fled IHOP on Thursday afternoon without paying a $48 meal bill and struck a restaurant manager as they fled, police said.
Police are searching for the men, who drove westbound on Route 4 around 4 p.m., evading police in Paterson, Lt. Derek Bastinck said. The driver was a black male "dressed as a female" in a t-shirt, black-hooded sweatshirt and "stretchy pants," while the passenger was wearing blue jeans and a maroon POW shirt. His hair was cut short, Bastinck said.
The restaurant manager was flung over the hood of the car when chasing after the men, but did not go to the hospital after the incident, Bastinck said. The Volvo was either gold or silver and had North Carolina license plates, he said.
